Explore the Outdoors With Adventurous Women
Discover new ways to spend time in nature, meet like-minded women, and feel more confident about outdoor challenges. Our project supports women who want to enjoy an active lifestyle outside—no matter their skill level or experience. We know it can be hard to start something new alone or to find friends for outdoor adventures. Our community helps solve these problems by connecting women who want to hike, camp, bike, climb, or just get outside more often. Here, you’ll find encouragement, practical tips, and real-life stories to help you feel inspired and safe.

About the Project
This website was created by Lena Carter, an avid hiker and outdoor educator based in Oregon. Lena experienced firsthand the barriers many women face outdoors—fear of starting alone, lack of information, and not knowing where to find a safe, supportive group. Her work in outdoor education and years leading women’s trips led her to build this space as a friendly source of advice, resources, and connection. Every article and tip here is based on credible sources and Lena’s own practical background.
